Girvana Vannek

Recently retired 42 year old Captain in the Imperial Navy. Originally from Drinax in the Outrim Void, she recently moved back floating palace on Drinax to be with her partner. She is friends with both Magnifikk and Boris from her time in the Navy, and has been travelling through the Outrim Void with them and their friends.

Boris Bogdanov

A former Imperial Navy Lieutenant, he served under Girvana Vannek for some years and became friends. While on a diplomatic mission to the Outrim Void he negotiated a secret deal with Travis Knoxville, who was acting on behalf of the pirate group, the ‘Black Flag’.

Gustaf Sjöström

From a famous family of civil servants (oxymoron surely?), Gustof graduated from medical school. He started working for a large pharmaceutical corporation, before moving to Spinward Traders, a large shipping corporation. He was forced out after being accused of fraud, though his name was cleared – mostly through the efforts of Lucia Reyes.

Lucia Reyes

After failing her course at university, Lucia joined a series of law enforcement agencies.
She chased a conman who soon disappeared; then a year later, someone else elsewhere used the same modus operandi and disappeared; then someone else. Lucia suspected it was the same person using pre-established identities and modified, cloned eyes to fool retinal scanners. She happened to meet Gustaf transporting the specialist medical equipment to install such eyes. Records showed a crooked doctor installing the latest eyes, Gustaf helped trace the new identity, and she travelled to catch up with the perpetrator. This also cleared Gustaf of the fraud of which he’d been accused.

Magnifikk

Magnifikk is another former officer in the Imperial Navy, having risen to the rank of Commander. After leaving the Navy she briefly join the Imperial Scout Service, but was psychologically damaged by her time in the IISS.

Travis Knoxville

An ex-pirate and then prisoner in an Imperial prison for eight years, Travis was recently released.
